The news is a joke - journalists so inept, so intent on their own reputations, they can't be bothered to care about anything... Politics is a joke - performed entirely for the benefit of the cameras. TV is a joke - and we've become the stars of it... Music is a joke - still desperately searching for authenticity after all these years Sport is a joke - barely fulfilling its function as bread and circuses for the masses The net is a joke - false community for the alienated economic elite Friends are a joke - you just get used and abused... Cynicism is a joke - there are too many professionals at work for us to compete. I'm a joke... But no one's laughing...
