Starting out afresh, the cabel is broken. Martin is remaining in the Cult, Connor and Kat’s location are unknown and Nicholas ventures out alone. A new members joins and there is conspiracy amoung the wraiths…
Session 22 Summary: Restart and broken
Title: Restart and broken
Time: 7pm, Monday 25th September 2000

Summary:
Martin remains in the womb of the Cult to, hopefully, recovering from his mental damage. Delta is also under close observation. June is called back to her OoH school. Nicholas decides to venture back to New York and hopefully then on to Clunyville where Martin had talked to Wraiths.
In New York Nicholas ventures in the less well respected areas and finds a desperate young junkie girl. He brings her to a hotel to help her. Unfortantly a local Pimp thinks Nicholas is trying to move in on his business and decides to cause him hassle. He threatens Nicholas out of the motel. His prostitues cut and hurt the junkie.
Outside, Nicholas tampers with his soul and the Pimp goes into a fit of rage scaring his girls and taking it out on the junkie. Nicholas enters and shoots off the pimp’s hand, saving the Junkie and rushing her to hospital.
Meanwhile P, a warrior of the Cult of Isis, has decided to take a sabatical from the Order. His superiors are not particularly happy with this but let him go. Sathathor goes after Nicholas and to New York. He arrives outside the hotel where the one-hand pimp is being taken to hospital. At the hospital Sathathor finds a blood stained Nicholas leaving.
The two find they have next to no money. They go looking for a hotel. In the first hotel, Sathathor enters and sees a man standing over the counter looking into the registar. Sathathor senses the dead body of the clerk at the desk and the man looks at Sathathor with the still-there half of his face. Nicholas appears but both Sathathor and Nicholas have to leave as objects are thrown at them and the door shuts. They enter another way, stepping over the dead bodies of the hotel staff. Nicholas sets up a spirit ward and tries to engage the spirit. Unfortantly, a swedish couple enter. The spirit kills the man but Sathathor and Nicholas manage to save the woman. The spirit is scared off by the spirit-sounds of dogs. Then arrives a huge wraith with dog-humans and armour made of souls. He wears a mask and revealed that he had no mouth to talk. Nicholas tries to bargin with him but to no avail. The wraith leaves on a chariot pulled by his dog-humans.
The police arrive and Sathathor and Nicholas sneak out leaving the woman to fend for herself in the blood. They hole up some motel. Nicholas gets a visit from a tall, thin man with a top hat, his arms are spidery and long. He tells him that Kat is ready to come home. So Nicholas opens a portal and Sathathor and himself head off after Kat. They arrive in the place that Nicholas awoke on. Sathathor notices the alive nature of the place, the dark eyes in the forest, the ground moving. But Nicholas is oblivious to this. They find Kat in a small ruin temple in the middle of the forest. She has been studying the Rune-writing on the walls but doesn’t know how she got her or about the messenger that came to Nicholas.
Strange tentacles surround the place, trying to snare Sathathor and Kat. They are completely uninterested in Nicholas. They discover it is a large “venus fly trap” underneat the temple. They all escape back to RL through Nicholas spirit magic. Aside, Sathathor is uneffected by the gaunlet storms that strike at Kat and Nicholas.
Nicholas goes in search of vengence. He goes to the hospital where the Pimp is. But is stopped by a powerful wraith like the one before except he has no eyes. He tells him that the hospital is off-limits to all wraiths and beings by order of the Heirarchy. Nicholas can not go through him.
On earth, Kat goes out and comes back with a nugget of gold, not saying where she got it. It is there only money.
