Summary:
June, Jacob and Kat are left quite a distance from the City. The ship was moved to the city before they could get to it. But theres more, the rocks start to rubble and begin to unfurl into humanoid shapes. A fully unfurled figure is about 9/10 ft tall and made of rock. June starts to move back towards the city.
Back on the Lord (Corruption)’s realm, Nicholas goes to talk with the Lord. He finds him in a large brightly lit room where the Dragon Lords and arguing over a battle plan. The Lord explains then intend to rescue Kat and the rest of the cabal.
Martin (Imhotep) demands to speak to the Lord Corruption. Kat agrees and he is brought to the same room. The Lord shows him the destruction that Imhotep caused by calling down the sky. Innocents that live off the land are now devesated, livestock and crops destroyed, homes destroyed. The Lord tells him that he is to be off his world in the hour and that Nicholas is going to rescue Kat and the rest of the cabel. It is a tense conversation as Martin is desperatly trying to hold himself in check and as the Lord prods his morals with arguments about the Lords non-manipulative methods and their having a common enemy (the man in white).
Martin leaves and is brought to three dragons. Nicholas arrives and then Kat and all three take to the sky.
Travelling through the deep umbra, with the huge dragons on either side they proceed to attack a planet. A huge being, twice the size of the planet (the hand of god in the previous session) is defending the planet and a gigantic battle commences.
The three small dragons head towards the surface, flanked by two of the full-size dragons.
On the surface, the rock people ignore June, Jacob and Kat and focus on the huge dragons that have come into view. The sky has turn black with violent bursts of flames. Also the doors to the city swing wide open and hoards of demons and orcs rush out. One of the huge dragons burns a huge trough in front of the hoards and prevents them from rushing forth and getting June and her friends.
Anthony appears out of nowhere. He has his umbrella and is clean shaven. He claims he was following Jacob in the umbra. Both Jacob and June are surprised.
June tries to hide herself and the group with magic but it backlashes and she suddenly shines with bright floursent light.
The three small dragons land and let Kat, Nicholas and MArtin down. But as soon as the other Kat sees them she makes June terrifed by using life. June throws up an impressive circle of protection that prevents Kat and Nicholas touching them. The other Kat counters anything that Kat and Nicholas try.
A portal opens and three orcs appear. Athony takes on two (he’s moving twice as fast) while the third races towards Martin. A fight ensues where Martin is knocked down to nearly incapicated with lethal damage. The Orc grabs the staff but the staff does something to the Orc and it dies.
Nicholas uses spirit to float himself and Kat over the ward and inside. Heated arguments occur and Nicholas points a gun at June (while june points her sword at Nicholas). Kat claims that the two Kats have to meld together otherwise they both die. Eventually June agrees.
The portal reopens and hoards of orcs and demons runs out. June extends the ward to protect Anthony and Martin.
Martin has recovered a little from his wounds and attempts to call the stars again. June strengthens the ward. As soon as Martin finishs, he collapses. The sky rains down with fire and rocks.
After an hour, the sky relaxes, the earth stops shaking. The dragons are nowhere to be see. The city is not damage and bodies of orcs and demons lay everywhere. One of the dragons lays dead in front of the City.
Anthony discovers that he can now open portals again and the cabel return to New York. Anthony rushes off as paradox chases him. June calls some of the OoH friends and the cabel get somewhere to sleep. Mestopholis removes the tattoo from June’s forehead. The cabal rest and recover.
