• The Sky Sports contract only extends as far as Ireland and the UK, the other rights having been sold on to various firms in other countries,
  used most widely in Norway where the Premiership is keenly followed.
  
• While it is not possible to subscribe legally to Canal+, the French-based TV Network which shows live Saturday
  Premiership action in Norway, several publicans in the Dublin area have managed to do so.
  
• They did it with the help of a legal loophole which allows them to exchange subscriptions with a counterpart in Norway. Which is all
  very uninteresting, but the main thing is - it worked out nicely for us!
  

Whenever Canal+ show Liverpool play on a Saturday, the DCU Liverpool Supporters Society will be watching the game in the Cat and Cage Pub, Drumcondra. Never heard of it? Here you go then....:

How to get there: From DCU: Exit by the Collins Avenue gate, turn right. Turn right again and the Swords Road and walk straight down into Drumcondra (until you see it on your left). The 3, 16, 33, and 41 buses go down the Swords Rd past the pub. Alternatively: Exit DCU via the Ballymun Rd gate, and wait there for an 11 bus which also passes the pub. From City Centre: Unless your fond of walking, it's got to be the bus from town. The 3, 11, 13a, and 16 buses serve Drumcondra best, all picking up on O'Connell Street. If you really do want to walk (!) go up North Fredrick St, turn right onto Dorset St, keep going straight all the way!
