Xenogears MUCK: IC Messages: For nothing is quite as it should be...

The impressive Gear that had landed at the not-Yggdrasil not more than a week before was a rarity in every respect--The Omnigears Fenrir.

And yet its rightful pilot was not the one who came to visit.

The reasons of Yui Uzuki's visit were kept tidily vague--Shevat needed to mind that Kislev and its operations were not stepping outside of the limits that their countries had agreed upon. Shevat needed to confirm that the Kislev's Yggdrasil indeed had a prisoner of Solaris's. Shevat needed to confirm a great many things. And to keep itself to the background besides.

It wouldn't do to have anyone believe that Shevat intended to express any aggression of its own, after all. At least for the moment's situations.

But Yui had quite a clear idea of what she was here for, despite so many neat excuses. And no small part of it was a matter of a personal quest.

How long had he been gone? Months, had it been? Since Midori...

Well. There was no need to dwell on that. But Yui still needed to find him, to talk to him... It had reached and long since passed the point at which a number of issues needed to be discussed. Soon.

If she could only manage to find where he had gotten off to... And keep herself from dreading the one place invisible to the surface.

Its strange, however, that for a night again, Yui had awoken as sharply as if to nightmares, choked by those images, that person she had seen. And as if to add yet odder things to this visit, such dreams again seemed far too real. Too full of thought and conversation and debate that seemed to true to be just the expressions of an anxious subconcious.

Gently she brushed aside a tear upon her eyelashes, a half unthought of action. And wondered at that, with the slightest of frowns. Dreams are just dreams. But how peculiar these since her arrival on this ship... Although its foolish to be so concerned about a dream.

"Perhaps," Yui murmered with a sigh, "I am merely not looking where I ought."
