" The citizenry of Dazil were given quite a jump yesterday due to the work of a loud explosion, one that could be heard halfway across the great plains and deserts to our capital of Bledavik. Imbellishing aside, the explosion was far, far north of the town, the silence in the air carried it to patrols around the area.

" According to rumours, the explosion was caused by a terrorist faction within the nation of Aveh. However, evidence and more reliable sources point more to the possibility that it was a Kislevi-related incident. One is presumed dead from the blast, remains not found by investigators. However, rocks predominant in the area bore splatters of blood at strange angles, suggesting that there was a fight beforehand.

" Although the area was void of life, the tatters of what looked to be a vest and a dented and empty canteen were next to a larger puddle of congealed blood while bits and drips of it lead away into the sands before promptly vanishing. 'The missing may have come to after the accident and staggered into the expanse of the desert. If so, then God help him, because nobody else will.' one investigator said.
