Having left her companion in the desert on his own to return to Dazil after issuing an urgent message, she'd now promised to stay out of the city, if only for a short time.

The damage had been done, and Galia would most likely be even more wary and suspicious of everything because she'd failed to finish what she'd started. Having received a mild and gentle scolding from her father to remain out of this, she'd made a promise to be on her best behavior...for now, at least.

But, perhaps this was for the best anyway. At least now she wouldn't have to watch her back as if she were paranoid, since the soldiers rarely bothered to leave the city. At least to her knowledge. Perhaps Joseph could help her...but for now, she must return to the one she'd left so rudely.
