Duran scrubbed at his stained and scrapped costume with despair. "So I sneak out of the medstation, and I turn up in Dazil to find out the Tournament's right about to start...what rotten luck."

He scrubs his cloak one last time, and hangs it up to dry. "And who were those people on the fighters board...?" he wondered aloud as he took off his armor and used a brush to scrape off ash.
"I've only heard of a few of them..."

He wondered if he would be matched up to fight against his fellow Gebler, Kale, and shook his head. "If it happens, it happens..." he told the mysterious figure in the corner. "There's nothing I can do about that, is there?"
