Some of the crew members of the Yggdrasil are talking in the Yggdrasil bay at the pirate's hideout. Apparently something rather peculiar just happened...
One of the crew members says, "...I heard they were at it for..."
Another says, "Maybe it's the bellybutton rings?"
A third says, "Isn't he... well, gay?"
A fourth member, clearly the youngest man among the four, approaches and says, "What're you guys talking about?"
The second says, "Didn't you hear? Sigurd invited a girl into his room? For the night!"
The fourth member nosebleeds. "WHAAAAAAAAAAAT?!"
The second member says, "I'm serious! I saw the two walking into the room and I didn't see the girl leave!"
The third says, "We're surprised too. Nobody REALLY knows what sides of the tracks he's on, if you get my drift..."
The first member shrugs and says, "That's the rumor anyway."
The fourth member starts crying waterfalls. "Siguuuuuuuuuurd.... how could you..."
All three other crew members sweatdrop and step away from the fourth member. The second crewmember looks over and says, "Hey look, there's Ryu! I heard he was in the dining hall when they were talking!"
Hearing his name heard, Ryukumu glances over his shoulder to see the other four members crowded around him. The fourth member is still crying in the same laughable fashion. Ryukumu sweatdrops and says, "...Uh, what?"
The first member says, "C'mon, tell us what happened."
"Huh?"
"With Sigurd and that new girl?"
Ryukumu blinks. "What do you mean?"
The third member says, "You know what we mean."
The fourth member grabs Ryukumu's shirt collar and starts shaking him around, still crying in the same ridiculous manner. "It's not true, is it? Did Sigurd really sleep with that girl?"
"W-what?"
The first member narrows his eyes and says, "You better tell us, or else..."
Ryukumu is still sweatdropping. "Or else what?"
"We'll tell everyone who it was that planted that camera in the girl's showers..."
Ryukumu's eyes widen and he stuffs a rag he was holding into the first member's mouth. "I've been gone forever, REMEMBER? When could I have planted that camera?"
"Mbfff hhfff bwfffffffmrh..."
The second crew member says, "He said it's called 'blackmail'. There wasn't a camera planted, but if a lie is told long enough and loud enough..."
The third member says, "...People'll think it's true."
The fourth member shakes Ryukumu by the collar again. "So tell us already!"
Seconds later, Ryukumu can be heard yelling across the entire base, "THROW ME BACK IN JAIL! PLEASE!!!!!"

High above the skies in The Ezekiel's infirmary, Sirus laughed to himself as he listened through the small transmitter he'd placed on Ryu before they had parted (No, I didn't really do this, the post is just kind of a joke. Well, the last part isn't unfortunately ><;;). 'Poor Ryu, he can be such a fool sometimes...', he mused to himself.
His thoughts were suddenly interrupted by the disturbingly pleasant voice of his nurse, "Oh Siiirus! It's time for your weekly check-up!".
For Sirus, 'check-up' meant all sorts of new experiences in pain, "Do we -have- to do this? I'm fine, really!"
"Now now, you know I can't do that," the nurse said as she walked into the room, wielding her usual tray of pain, and removing a new painful looking instrument from it, "Besides, this time I have to give you a spinal tap."
Deep in Krelian's office, the minister himself could've sworn he heard something, but brushed it off as the wind. Granted, there didn't seem to be much reason for the wind saying something along the lines of, "For God's sake lady, just pull the IV out and let the poison kill me!"

Sulamith blinked as she stepped out the next morning, finding that wherever she went she was being reacted to. Sigurd had been kind enough to let her sleep in his bed, quite innocently mind you, but she never thought such a simple gesture of his would produce such results. She was being... stared at. This was not something the Seeress was used to, really, at least not such appraising or scrutinizing looks. It was entirely surreal, as if she'd walked onto the set of a movie and all the other actors didn't recognize her.
Some of them smiled and waved, and to them she waved back. Maybe word of what she'd done the day previous with that bomb had gotten around too? Apparently not as fast as rumors of her and Sigurd, however. The rest of them stared at her as if she were an alien, then turned and murmured to their companions.
The Seeress paused and put her hands on her hips. Well. So they were going to talk, were they... Setting herself to a faster pace, she began looking for Yggridsil's first mate with a set expression of determination on her visage. One would think it was to somehow perform damage control over the rumors going rampant.
No, this little Seeress was going to give them all something to -really- talk about.

Brin pricks his ears up lightly as he quietly eavesdrops on the excited conversation on the other side of the dining hall. He sips his tea, and thinks. And sips. And quietly disapproves. Mortal sin on top of mortal sin. Not what he would expect from a man such as Sigurd. Still, it is only rumour, and a rumour can be a very dangerous thing in such a confined space. He stands, and casts the group one last diapproving glance as he exits the dining hall. Rumours must be dispelled, or substantiated. In this case, it only remains to find out which.

Far away from the Pirate Base, one figure leaned against the bar he had just wiped down and reached over to flip the switches for the sub-wide radio. The glasses were all in order. The plates were neatly stacked. And each spoon, fork, and especially knife had been accounted for.
As well they should be--those dishes were all the best Cerencia had found among his counterpart's supplies in the Dining Hall.
Maison could be the one to serve -his- wards on cheap paper and plastic now. Also--while he had been unable to resist at least folding the pirates' laundry--he had managed to make off with extra sets of sheets and a better pillow for Dirah.
Sweet revenge.
...
Or something.
He then--just as quickly--flinched from the resounding cry which tore down the metallic halls, almost causing him to knock over the set of audio recievers that had been keeping him in rather high spirits of bitter amusement over the last few days.
The reception was terribly hard to pick up through all the sand, but it had been worth it.
"CEEEEEEEEREEEEEEEEENNNNNNNN!"
A torrent of footsteps were added to this howl, causing Ceren's instincts to war between reaching for a broom and taking cover behind the aforementioned bar.
"For the love of Nortune, NO MORE COUNTRY!"
