Truth be told this sounds like a guy who came to another place I RP at, and frankly I'm sick and tired of it, I can honestly say I live a real life outside the MUCK, which is for me merely a place to have some fun when I have nothing else to do, or to hel;p in the writing of a story that goes way beyond most things I've ever read. If you ever thought once about why people did this or even tried it yourself you may see it as a different thing than "escaping reallity". Though if my guess is correct you've probablly had a bad experience on one and was hurt, so now you feel that all are merely escapism.
