Opinions on the TP Suggestion?

Xenogears MUCK: OOC Messages: Opinions on the TP Suggestion?
By Dominia on Sunday, May 20, 2001 - 02:41 am:

Just a quick Domi-note. ^_^ I just need to know what everyone thinks of the TP Suggestion on the webpage. Currently, it looks like a lot of people think it'd be fun, and a few have even started making Shevvite and Etone characters.

But, well, I can't be sure from the 3 or so people who have responded. ^_^;; So! I just need a quick tally.

Do you think that the TP should be run? (If it does, it will be either near the end of, or after, the Dark Ygg happenings- late June, maybe?)

Any suggestions or corrections or ideas?

We've gotten ideas on what the machine the rebel Etones find, too. Currently, the votes up for an AI that has historical or tactical information in it, or a weapon of sorts. Please cast your vote on that, too. ^_^

So, pretty much give me your ideas on the plot- if you like it or not, if it will work.. And if enough people think its neat, we can run it. ^_^

Thanks for your time!

Domi

I'm all for it. Gotta break in my shiny new Shevvite OC, anyhow. ^^ I vote in favor of the TP, it has the potential to be brilliant. I would also suggest that the coveted item be a biolgoical weapon, like an ether weapon. Maybe somebody preserved through cyrogenics who holds critical information and tech designs? Who knows. But that's the direction I'm think in.

I'm all for it, for the same reasons as Casske. Though, I disagree on what the object should be. In my mind, it shouldn't be a weapon at all. What it -is-, I haven't thought up yet. ^^ Everyone should only be led to believe it's a weapon, and that makes things more interesting.

*thinks -really- -hard- in Dominia's direction*

*watches a nearby computer monitor implode* Argh! My screen!

Does anyone also possibly want to play--or pose as--Thames members or excavators? In the amusing case, part of the action can travel there, since there must be some freelance repair workers or just freefloaters in the area. Since the cult will not have a major access to a city in the Aquavy region without stomping on the Etone HQ toes, perhaps they would resort to Thames work for their errands?

Just a thought.
*hears another detonation* ...#%@(#.
