Weeeell, while the situation with the Gazel Ministry is done, there is one little matter left to take care of: Ryukumu is to be executed in two days (role-play time). Like I just said, that's two days in role-play time. Real-time, I'm going to take my time and plan this out.

This'll be a one-session (MAYBE two) RP where the terms are simple: some Yggdrasil crew members need to go to Solaris and help Ryukumu escape before he is executed. There is an informant in Solaris (who shall remain anonymous except to those in an RP session the other day) who wants to help Ryukumu escape, but the person can't have a direct role; their life would be in danger, too, and it could jeopardize the mission.

Here's the skinny on the execution: Ryukumu is being held in a top-security prison cell. Guards are on watch 24-7, as well as security cameras and gun turrets. If an unauthorized person tries to enter the top-security cell block, the guns will come on and the intruder will be instantly gunned down. If they get by the turrets, the guards will gun them down. If that doesn't work, Cube drones will come out and gun the intruder down. In other words, you can't break Ryukumu out of the cell.

There will be a very narrow timeframe where Ryukumu will be taken from the cell blocks to the execution chamber. The execution chamber does not have quite as many security systems in place, so a rescue from that point is possible. However, it would involve the rescue party to avoid being seen or disguised; if they're seen, then a guard (player or NPC) would hit an alarm and it's game over.

Sounds pretty hard, huh? But that's what'll make it fun. ^_^

Here's what I need: I need a few Yggdrasil crewmembers and a few Solarian officers to volunteer to sign up. The Yggdrasil crew is, obviously, the rescue party, with the Solarian officers being either on normal patrol around Solaris, or possibly being one of the guards escorting Ryukumu to the execution chamber.

How many people do I need? ...eh, I'd say 3 or 4 Ygg'ers, and at least 3 Solarian officers. One of which will be the anonymous informant. I say 'at least' because there is no limit; if the entire nation of Solaris wants to participate (yeah, right), then... well, uh, then we'll talk. ^_^;;; But there need to be at least 3 people from each party in order to keep things interesting.

In case you can't see it coming, I do plan for an alarm to go off at some point. And, end result, well, Ryukumu WILL successfully escape. I know that's powergaming and cheating the scene, but ICly all that's left for Ryukumu to do in Solaris is either:

A) Rot in a jail cell.
B) Be executed.

Believe me, I've done option 'A' plenty of times. It's insanely, insanely boring, and makes any RP opportunities null and void. I'd almost rather quit the MUCK entirely then rot in jail anymore. 'B' is not an option-- I am not going to kill off this character. Period.

Well, it's been a week or so since I posted any info on the rescue TP, so here's an update. I've gotten a fair number of people who mentioned interest in the TP. Here's a rough draft roster:
