If people want to talk about applications, and why they failed, someone could set up a board solely for that purpose of applications, application inquiries, etc.
If people fail an application horribly they can post it up publically and get it reviewed by other players.
This way... any flames that occur will end up being public and therefore can spread like forest fires, unlike containing everything within Dominia's E-mail box. And everyone can have fun!
... Or, you can choose just not to look.

Eee. It's an idea, yes, but one I'm terribly wary of. For example, I have a rather selective application selection style, and I'd rather not have the playerbase in general bitch. Since there are a few people who would, regardless of my reasons for doing so, bitch.
But to actually be relevant, it also might be a touch unsettling to have the entire game settle onto your app and start ripping. It would reveal key history points and personalities to everyone on the game.
In fact, it's almost a privacy issue.
I maintain that people who want to know why their apps failed should sign on as a guest: Since I've noticed personally that a significant number of 'borderline applications' that I accept never sign on the game.
Signing on the game shows a fair bit of initiative, after all!
