What the heck is Domi going off on now? Well, it's just an idea, really. ^^; And a significant amount of support has been shown for it already. So I figured that I'd throw it up here in the public light and see what everyone else thought of it.

What about a XenogearsMUCK OC Perfect Works? (I guess that'd make it XMOCPW, but that's an awful acronymn. ^_^;;;) I think it should include this:

*An extencive timeline that lists all of the major events in the world and when they happened. (With links to detailed explanations of these events.)
(This could also have subsections in which more minor events that happened in specific areas could be listed, such as the Music Competition in Dazil, which wasn't critically important, but could plausibly come up in plot.)

*OC Pages! I'd basically put out a template of info, and have all of the OCs who wanted to be in it fill out this information. Page gets posted, and you've got a Perfect Works-style character sheet up on the internet. Would basically include history, fun notes, and a very short and bare timeline.

The purpose of this would be to give everyone a readily accessible database of important events, as well as let them read up on characters they meet.

Of course, it also can't be done by me all by myself. ^_^; I likely know a lot of major events here, but I could really, really use help. Especially with layout and design of this. And compiling information. ^_^;

I think it's a good idea. And not only can those who are artistically inclined draw their own charas, but those who are artistically inclined can also draw other people's charas for them... I could -possibly- take art requests if any so desire...

Right, I'm silly today.

I basically need to know if anyone here can basically web design. Enough to make this look cool, and preferably like Perfect Works. This isn't too hard: PW's Character pages are just a picture, a bar beneath it with the character name, a table for the timeline, and some paragraphs for info.

And yes, for those not artistically inclined, we can leave it blank and then you can find someone to draw your chara for you. ^^

People need to decide what sort of info needs to be there and how much.

Also, I need to compile all of the major events that happened here, first. I can do a lot of it, but help would be certainly appreciated. Especially from you older ones. *Peers in the direction of Sirus/Ryu/Bart/Khiea/Etc*

Soooooo, help me! You, the players, can help get this thing done!

Hmm. I think the general layout like the XGMUCK's webpage is really kool, but taking a cue from the Nisan Sanctuary, I think it should look like that. But with separate navigational buttons for each chapter of the book.

Maybe something like this:

And then when you click the button, and go to that specific chapter, it should look like this:

etc. etc., with the separate button links of the various sub-chapters of that one chapter. Does that sound good at all? :P

I had an idea. Not sure how it'd run, but I have to draw it out first, see how it pops up in my head. I'll throw my ticket in when I have my idea figured out completely, though. Also, I'm willing to do art for people if they want it done, just email me your desc.

I think the LAST thing you need is anything that would increace anyone's ego any more than it is already. Many of us have already inflated our heads to dangerous levels.

That being said, if you actually did this, I'd have a lot of fun cranking out material. Hey, beats schoolwork.
