I applied to XenoMUCK 5 days ago...and I haven't gotten any word. I was wondering if I could get an approximation on how long it takes to process an application? Is there an email address that I could send a message to so I can find out of I was ignored, and if I was go over the reasons why? Do any of the owners have an AIM or AOL name I could Instant Message? Also I've been wondering if you aren't accepting any new members. Thanks in advance.

Well, for one thing, the application process usually takes about a week. 5 days isn't much to fuss over; I've been on games that took 2-3 weeks to respond.

But if a week's gone by and your application hasn't been responded to, then it's been rejected. This is all detailed very clearly on the character webpage, so I don't have many qualms with out in saying it. ^^;;; But if your application was rejected, then I'd go and look at these factors first:

LENGTH: If your app is shorter than a printed page (Or, if you put it into notepad, is smaller than 5K), then your application is likely too short to be accepted.

POWERS: If your character has any unreasonable powers, such as superhuman speed or superhuman abilities that are not explained or justified, the application is rejected right off the bat.

If both of these check out, then go over the 'Good Applications, Bad Applications' page on the Character Application webpage. See if your app matches up to any of the big no-no's or not. If it doesn't, then hey. O_o Track me down on the MUCK, and I'd be glad to go over it with you.
