By Brin on Thursday, January 24, 2002 - 12:46 pm:

...can be used for TP discssion, and the like, and sugestion-throwing-out by the TP council, or suggestion from the players. Have fun.

By Dominia on Thursday, January 24, 2002 - 07:26 pm:

Brin, you rule. ^_^

By Sirus on Thursday, January 24, 2002 - 11:03 pm:

Okay, first TP, I take over the world, and the rest of you bow to me like the inferior scum you are. Sound good?

By Domi on Saturday, January 26, 2002 - 10:25 pm:

Uhmmmm.. What's with the TP Board Description?

By Duran on Sunday, January 27, 2002 - 12:51 am:

Apparently, it's about Brin's Bunghole. I suppose that's the thought he has about every TP.

By Brin on Sunday, January 27, 2002 - 04:50 pm:

No Meat!
Big Feet!
I eat wood!
(dun dun dun dun DUN!)

By Dominia on Sunday, January 27, 2002 - 05:57 pm:

Obviously, the answer is that Brin is high. ^_^

By Gabriel on Monday, January 28, 2002 - 01:55 am:

At least he hasn't declared himself the "Great Brinholio".

By Duran on Monday, January 28, 2002 - 02:30 am:

Don't give him any ideas! :P

By Ryoji on Monday, January 28, 2002 - 02:48 am:

Why does that little quote sound familiar?

By Brin on Monday, January 28, 2002 - 11:04 pm:

In my country, we....

*changes the description back*

^^

By Ryoji on Tuesday, January 29, 2002 - 08:52 pm:

No meat, big feet, I eat wood? That sounds really familiar, I keep thinking it sounds like a verse from a Nirvana song...yet I doubt it.

By Wil on Tuesday, January 29, 2002 - 09:37 pm:

I sent an application in over a month ago for a character and never recieved a reply. My email squid187@hotmail.com. Thankyou

By Wil on Tuesday, January 29, 2002 - 09:58 pm:

You know what this site needs is a Xenogear Tech Page. It would have pictures and technical data on gears, armor, and weapons systems.

By Domi on Wednesday, January 30, 2002 - 04:44 am:

Ah, yes, check the webpage. ^^; Apps that get no response whatsoever were failed.

By Xeero on Wednesday, January 30, 2002 - 04:48 am:

*mutters* I still think that's a lame policy

By Domi on Wednesday, January 30, 2002 - 05:22 am:

Well, thankfully, no one asked you.

If you'd want to type up case by case failure letters and deal with all the resulting flames, please, be my guest.

By Xeero on Wednesday, January 30, 2002 - 09:56 am:

I already offered actually, along with fulfilling several other duties on here

By Ryoji on Wednesday, January 30, 2002 - 05:31 pm:

Just make one general "You were rejected." letter, save it, and then send it off to whomever :D

By Fei on Thursday, January 31, 2002 - 12:42 am:

Or, you can just send them a picture of me, foaming at the mouth. That generally tends to shake people up. ^^

By Ryukumu/Ramsus on Friday, February 01, 2002 - 03:16 pm:

I dunno, while leaving them hanging with a rejected app is rather rude, if Domi DID reply saying 'you were rejected', a bunch of the rejected app-ers would send replies either flaming her or asking why they were rejected. If she didn't reply to THAT, they'd probably send more emails till they get a response. It'd go back and forth and back and forth for a while to the point where the rejected app-er is mad AND Domi is mad. At least by not giving any response, Domi doesn't get bugged. ^_^

By Dominia on Friday, February 01, 2002 - 05:38 pm:

*Grins!* Commander, you put it far better than I would have. ^^ Thanks!

That was the initial idea, after all. And besides... Would it be fair to anyone to use the same generic reject-reply for someone who had a good, but slightly faulty application and someone who wrote a one-sentence e-mail reading: 'plz let me on ur game my name is vegita pw inivncibel'?

It's sad but true, but some applications don't -deserve- a rejection letter. And some people you don't want trying back again.

If there is a -minor- problem in an app, then I generally -do- send them an e-mail saying 'This is fine, but...' And if they sign on as a Guest and ask me about their application status, their chances of acceptance go up hugely.

Because it proves that they're willing to sign on. Also, as a fun note, most apps that I accept that I consider 'borderline' acceptable are never signed on, or only signed on once.

'Sides. I used to do rejection letters and all it resulted in was a lot of e-mails back flaming me, or people yelling at me because 'the ability to teleport across continents' was soooo very cool that I should let them on with it or I'd be a bad Wizard.

So. ^.^ That's why I run things as I do.

That's how it is; that's how it goes.

By Ramsus/Ryukumu/Saul on Saturday, February 02, 2002 - 09:33 pm:

[kissing-up]

And contrary to the complaints of a few people, the way things are run now is fine. ^_^

By Wil on Monday, February 04, 2002 - 10:32 pm:

I would like to know why my appy was rejected,
Thankyou

By Domi on Monday, February 04, 2002 - 11:48 pm:

Well, for one, this is a TP Board, where we discuss potential plot ideas. It's not a place to discuss applications or any such thing.

If you would like to properly go about this, I would like for you to sign on as a Guest on the XenogearsMUCK, and attempt to get ahold of me.

Once I am on, please tell me the e-mail address and date of the application and I will look it up.

I will then discuss the details of failure with you.

Deal?
