Kid Icarus' next gig is in

After a 5 month (!) break which saw the band members go in seperate directions over 3 continents Kid Icarus are finally all back home in dublin and are currently whipping themselves back into shape for an autumn/winter period that should see them play an armful of gigs around dublin and release their first E.P. proper.

The first gig lined up is on October 12th in break for the border as part of a Dublin City Univerity student event, support on the night comes from multi-vocalist rock band "Mint". It's a closed gig, so unless you are/know a DCU student you won't be attending :)

The tracklist for the new E.P. is as yet still undecided, but all tracks will be (as ever) available as MP3 downloads on this site.

This is what Hot Press journalist Eamonn Sweeney had to say about Kid Icarus after the recent Hot Press Homefront competition:

"This fortnight, the Homefront Gold Medal goes to Kid Icarus. They attracted by far the biggest crowd, and it certaintly isn't just because they have a lot of friends - they are capable of blowing almost anyone off stage.
Their sound is loud, but very, very sexy, and their tunes brought on a bout of snogging and moshing. Despite their youth, they have plenty of crowd-pleasers in their repertoir, "Shake's Baby" being the most obvious".
