Surrender All

Lavelle's new record label have signed up Dan F.
"... in 2006 Dan was signed on by legendary producer James Lavelle to become one of the core artists for the Mo Wax founder's new label Surrender All." (source)

According to Dan F's website he's already prduced some, as yet unreleased, UNKLE remixes of Reign, Inside, I Need Something Stronger off Never Never Land, and the (rumoured) first single for the forthcoming UNKLE album, Burn My Shadow.

Also on his website:
"Following a couple drunken nights out in Hong Kong, James Lavelle commissioned Dan to remix "Inside" and "I need Something Stronger", both from the last album Never Never Land, as part of a collectors 12" project. In addition Dan also remixed "Burn My Shadow" off the forthcoming new album, which features Ian Astbury (The Cult) on vocals. This will be part of the 12" singles package which also features mixes by Layo & Bushwacka and Junkie XL."

Bootleg maina

Watch out, there are plenty of new UNKLE bootlegs floating about. First off we had a few UNKLE tracks appearing on some of the DJ Shadow 12" bootlegs, UNKLE Sounds mixes booted to CD, then we had the UNKLE Def Beats. Now it seems the Japanese trilogy (Ape Shall Never Kill Ape, Rock On and Last Orgy 3) along with Rabbit In your Headlights have been commited to dodgy vinyl. eBayers beware.
