Alas Folks, We’re coming to the end of the 2nd Semester and just to get everyone due warning that Training will continue until Wk12 after that the hall is taken over for the exams (Yes I Know
). So everyone get down in the next 2 weeks and make the most of it. We plan to have a biltz and (exams be damned) A super-duper night out!
Clubs and Socs Awards
Congratulations to Lena Sexton who won the prestigious “Outstanding Club Administrator/Outstanding Sporting Achievement Individual” at this years DCU Clubs and Soc’s Awards held last Wednesday in the Helix.

Clubs and Soc’s Awards:
Well it’s that time of year again the “Club and Soc’s Awards” and this year DCU badminton is hot favourite or the “Most Improved Club”, also our esteemed Treasurer; Lena Sexton is also nominated for the “Outstanding Club Administrator/Outstanding Sporting Achievement Individual”. We wish her and the club the best of luck and fingers cross next Thursday night.
Varsities:
Last weekend our august men and women fought themselves to the quarter finals in the 2009 Varsities held this year in Maynooth. Well done to our team consisting of Collie Ollie, Roger Smith, Stephen Dunne, Kevin Murray, Ann Mc Cartney, Ashleigh Coyne, Jenny Abbott and Lena Sexton. Well Done Lads!!!
Club Night Out:
Right now for the important stuff! Tuesday the 31st of March the club is having it’s night out. The plan thus far is to meet up in the hub/old bar around 9.30pm and then take it from there. They’re always a great night, so everyone should make the effort it will be definitely worth it
