Hello kids.. welcome along the latest S@E. If all goes according to plan you should be reading this on a nice coloured piece of paper. Big thanks to J. the ultimate lush female for sorting it out for us. Some of you may have heard of a freesheet called "Gearhead Nation", well it seems that the editor and main writer, Derek, is going away for a while, so no more GN for the masses. At times we had our tiffs with them, and we didnt agree with everything they said in their articles but it really is a good publication, and it will be sorely missed on the counters of the Record shops around Dublin. Everything we said in the last issue that we'd look at this issue we forgot about, so apologies. Theres new issues of the grrl produced Mind Riot and Indeed UR, so buy them. Cant think of much else really that we have to say. Just go to gigs and buy fanzines and all the other shit you're supposed to do. Alright? You know yourselves, you arent stupid. Well, not too stupid. If you're allowed out for a while, then get your crayons and some paper and write us an article and send it to 10 Whitethorn Road, Artane, Dublin 5, or if you have a computer at home (but not a Playstation, you cant send email with that now) thats hooked up the the net, you can email us at slanted@redbrick.dcu.ie, or even look at the web page at http://www.groov.ie/se. We're hoping to put together a fanzine for the summer maybe also, so if you want to contribute feel free to do so. Next issue will probably be a "Gran Canaria Uncovered" special cos Stripe and his ball-and-chain are going there for a week at the end of March for some sun, sand, surf, sea and stickiness.
