These flowers were everywhere when I arrived in Perth.

This is me, ready for a day of meeting-&-greeting exhibitors at the
4-Wheel-Drive and Adventure Show!

The view of the show from my gate on the Tuesday morning.

The same view on the Wednesday morning.

The same view on the Thursday morning!

The same view on the Friday morning - the show starts in a few minutes!

A spiffy sunset framed by Holden flags - what could be more Australian?

This is what the Perth skyline looks like. Note the pretty rainbow.

Myself and Clare get ready to wipe out repeatedly.

Andy (tut tut, he should be old enough to know better), David and our handsome
hero embark on a journey toward raucous inebriation.

Having recovered from that, the adventuring party (several days older) heads
out to a pub-brewery in Fremantle called Little Creatures.

Our handsome hero gets photographed, obviously.

The beer there was really nice, so we stayed for quite a while.

Not exactly Perth by several hundred kilometres, but this is the orchard in
Donnybrook where I worked thinning the apple trees.

Sing, Kevin and Catherine on our well-deserved lunch break.

This is a couple of Perth's black swans, nesting in a park.

These guys put W.A. on the map by finding gold out there in the outback.
