HALLOWEEN FUNDRAISER

On Friday 22nd October 2010 our day was dedicated to a Halloween fundraising event. One of our parents, Consuelo Connolly is employed by the charity 'Grow' which is a community mental health organisation in Ireland. All our children wore Halloween costumes and donated €1 each to the cause. All staff sported their favourite sports jersey and donated €2 for the privilege. We also had a cake sale which was a huge success. All staff supplied a great variety of delicious cakes, buns, home made bread and gateaux. A special word of thanks to Noelle Hamilton who made us a gorgeous chocolate ganache gateaux which we raffled on the day. After a fun filled day we were delighted that we were able to present Consuelo with €500 for the charity 'Grow'.
