Citan's Dream: Carols Remembered
You reach the top of the hill, finding yourself... inside? All of a sudden, you hear struck wood as your feet fall upon planks... here and about the area is built from wood, and for a reason or another you could -swear- you were in the center and heart of a lodge of sorts. Skis lay scattered about but, for some reason, the effect is silly, as if such were things of lazy skiers, taking all of the equipment is painted in such pretty pastel colors that they all look rather, well, nice.
Two other specific things catch your interest here--the circular firepit that stands rather randomly up in the middle of this area and the huge couches surrounding it with tables interspersed. The tables hold a few sets of mugs and packages of marshmallows. There are stuffed animals occasionally among the sofa cushions. There is also a large, stuffed turtle on the table nearest to you. The turtle... is bright purple.

Hyuga (OOC) will be posing short and poor tonight, as a warning. "I'm sorry. You can refuse the scene if you want." ^^
Jessie (OOC) might be in the same boat. "I'm a little tired as well."

Khiea (OOC) stares.
How long has it been? Long enough that even his own side of Dream is strange to the Guardian, though it still welcomes him in the same silent cries of relief that a loyal animal might to its master. The snow pours down in flurries outside. The sky is a pure shade of white. Such an odd way of showing glee for the world, but it is what suits the man, and it is all outside anyway. In here there is warmth, and a fire... and also hot cocoa. One could almost pretend that this were a scene on the other side of waking, with a father and a daughter and catching up after a long day with something nice to drink. Hyuga smiles and tosses the feather cloak onto the nearby couch before he moves to the hearth to pour the cocoa. "How many cups, do you think?" he addresses the world in general, sensing.. all manner of things.
Midori (OOC) blinks.
Khiea (OOC) glares.
Hyuga (OOC) waves. "We are using Jessie as an example. And having cocoa."
Midori (OOC) poses?
Jessie (OOC) says, "Sure, go ahead."
Khiea (OOC) conjures up hot chocolate and watches OOCly. ^^
Hyuga (OOC) asks, "Want to join icly?"
Khiea (OOC) thinks there would be violence. ^^
Hyuga (OOC) offers Jessie to distract them all?
Jessie (OOC) says, "Sure... I'll keep the kids away from each other."
Khiea (OOC) wouldn't want to be a bother. ^^
Hyuga (OOC) says, "No, whichever makes people happy. Whichever works. ^^"
Khiea (OOC) nods, and would rather not enter the scene, all things considered.
Hyuga (OOC) nods.
Hyuga (OOC) tries suddenly to pry the amount of people aiming him away.
Khiea (OOC) signed on for a completely different reason, but an invite is an invite. ^^ If no one minds me watching.
Hyuga (OOC) apologizes! ^^
Jessie (OOC) doesn't have one.
"Two, at least, father", and Midori is a solidifying apparition behind Hyuga, not entirely unnecessarily, but that is the way of the nightmare, is it not? Surprises, the unexpected. It is how the nightmare works, and works through those who would enter it. Midori is here, and there is cocoa this time, and the room is slightly different. Still, it is a change from the great roaring shadows of the tearoom, the wood warm beneath her feet. She smiles, and it is genuine and different. "Good evening, father. Will anyone be joining us this evening?". It is a feeling. Perhaps there are others here already.
Hyuga (OOC) says, "Now we learn how to dissect Jesiah..."
Midori (OOC) claps!
Khiea (OOC) sorries, and waves. ^^ Things come up.

The dream has become almost like a second home to Jesiah. It seems he goes there to relax, and get away from everything. In a way, it makes his sleep much more restfull knowing he'll end up here. 'Waking up', he walks through Citan's portion like he knows where he is going. However, when he gets to the top of the hill, he sees there are already two others there. He reconizes the girl as Citan's daughter, Midori, but at first he doesn't reconize the gentleman standing there. As he gets closer, the features start to seem familiar, and the glasses almost give him away. "Hyu, is that you?", he asks himself as he finally reaches the other two in the area.
Jessie (OOC) asks, "Learn how to dissect Jesiah?!?"
Midori (OOC) hides whatever she was holding behind her back.
Jessie (OOC) says, "Let's see your hand."
"Hmm?" Hyuga does not really need to turn his head and glance over his shoulder to note Jessie's presence, but he does for politeness's sake. "Ah, another cup indeed. Good evening, Midori." So the Guardian smiles, not even noting any longer if his daughter's voicing aloud of her thoughts might seem strange to another. Here in a between place--partially on the shores of Nightmare, for how can it not be, and partially only another Dream. Not like the Castle. More... intimate, more quiet. More of Hyuga, at peace. "How are you doing tonight, Jesiah? Please, join us? Midori, have you seen where the marshmallows are?"
Hyuga (OOC) says, "My daughter knows how to use what she plays with, do not worry, Jesiah..."
Midori (OOC) turns her hand into a tree, and thwaps jessie with it.
Jessie (OOC) smiles. "I'm sure she..." *ouch*
Hyuga (OOC) grins.
Hyuga (OOC) says, "She is a fast learner."
Midori halfheartedly hunts for them, walking around the room, looking in most likely places. A lower cupboard she can rech, the fireplace. Anywhere is likely, really. Still, it is not a surprise when she looks down, and finds them in her hand, after all. "Oh, here they are, father", she gently says, as Jessie makes his presence known. A faint glimmer of recognition, as she reaches the table, and hands the bag to Hyuga. "Three, then, father?", she muses, and regards Jessie with more then a passing interest. Where does this face come from?
Jessie (OOC) says, "I see... " *poses*
Seeing how this may be a moment where father and daughter, might want to be alone, Jesiah thinks about Hyu's question for a moment. However, since Hyu did invite him to stay, it must be alright. "Sure, I'll stick around for a bit." Jesiah grabs a seat at a table and looks over at Midori. "She's growin' up quick, isn't she?", trying to institute some small talk since he's not sure how Hyu is doing since he is dressed the way he is.
Midori (OOC) says, "Well, yes, I am, thanks."
Midori (OOC) sulks.
Hyuga (OOC) blinks and realizes that yes, he is Young Jugend..... hmmm. la la la
Jessie (OOC) asks, "what?"
Jessie (OOC) wasn't sure...
This is the face that crosses Hyuga's mind so often when he thinks of Midori, oddly, almost as much as her mother's. For this is one of those by which the Guardian seeks to find the truth of dreams, of ghosts and gods. In particular, this is the man who relates to those who are dead, or might be... as Hyuga had once feared Midori to be. "She is. She is," Hyuga nods, smiling as he accepts the bag and begins to add the sugary treats into the cocoa. It is perfect temperature to drink and will not cool. It will not ever cool unless one wishes it or if their attention lags and the entropy of the snowlands takes over, but that can be restored easily. "So... please, catch us up, Jesiah," Hyuga laughs, handing a cup to Midori first before crossing the room to give one to his former leader. "Midori and I are so very far behind on events." And now you are technically on the other side. Well. Never mind that--everyone in this room walked every which way.
Ah. The faintest of memories of towering figures in the house on the hill. On the Yggdrasil. Now the face has a name, Midori has an association, and sits at the table relaxedly. Smile. Behind on events, is a little of an understatement. Midori would be so behind on her old life, that it would be a re-acquaintance, rather then a reminder. Still, father wishes to remind himself of the life he still leads. It is only for Midori to be mildly interested, and drink her cocoa.
Catch you up, Hyu? Haven't you been involved with most everything around here? Jessie shrugs and calmly takes a sip from his cup. "Well, Prim has run off with Issac and well, has been getting lessons from him. That's the one big thing that has been happening to me lately." He takes another drink. "There was this little war around Dazil, but it looks like that has calmed down lately. Otherwise, I haven't been up to date myself lately." Interesting, that Hyu doesn't know what is going on.
Jessie (OOC) blinks. "Well, it seems Phil has just come back from a show and wants to get some food. I think I would like to go. You two mind if I just kinda fade out?"
Hyuga (OOC) says, "No, not at all."
Midori (OOC) shakes her head. No Problem.
Jessie (OOC) nods. "Thanks. Have a good scene."
Jessie has disconnected.
Hyuga (OOC) considers.
Hyuga (OOC) asks, "Is there anything you wanted to do here, by the way?"
Midori (OOC) says, "Hm. Well, actually, not in particular X_x."
Hyuga (OOC) checks people online to stalk.
Hyuga (OOC) says, "Hmm."
Hyuga (OOC) says, "We could relax, or teach more odd things. I am not certain what else at this point yet..."
Midori (OOC) considers a real-life visit? Have we decided who gets there first? ^^.
Hyuga (OOC) says, "Right. Not yet...."
Hyuga (OOC) says, "But I might--no Khiea would blow you up if you attended her birthday."
Midori (OOC) had thought of that, and came to the same conclusion ^^.
Hyuga (OOC) says, "Perhaps.... I would invest you in the Etones to start you training. If you were interested in that..."
Midori (OOC) blinkblinks. Seems like a nice IC idea, but, as regards being able to RP with anyone but my parents...Hm.
Midori (OOC) says, "Not that I mind, of course... ^."
Hyuga (OOC) asks, "That's up to you... how much and where do you want to RP?"
Midori (OOC) is not sure. This frequent is fine, but I'm seriously not fussy where. It's a conundrum. Perhaps the family needs to OOCly work it out.
Hyuga (OOC) says, "Hm, yes."
Hyuga (OOC) says, "Meaning we should find Yui when she has enough time, instead of being so busy."
Midori (OOC) nods. Holding off on the life-planning for now. Want both parents to be happy, IC and otherwise ^^.
Hyuga (OOC) is insane, not happy.
Hyuga (OOC) resists... trying to... enroll Midori in Jugend...
Hyuga (OOC) says, "You could meet the Elru Children there, or some of them. *pauses and realizes that that would give Midori telepathic company*"
Midori (OOC) would not mind going to Solaris for a while.
Hyuga (OOC) says, "I would like you there."
Midori (OOC) says, "Mother might have a thing or two to say about that, though."
Hyuga (OOC) says, "Well, Mother is not prompt about stopping me..."
Hyuga (OOC) says, "ANd you would be safer. Hmm."

Hyuga (OOC) watches the 6 hour new Dune and wants those pants.
Midori (OOC) BLINKS.
Hyuga (OOC) asks, "The new Dune, the long one?"
Midori (OOC) shakes her head.
Hyuga (OOC) says, "Nice, nice costumes in it."
Hyuga (OOC) says, "I think you would... do well in Jugend. And with the Elru Children."
Midori (OOC) says, "As long as I would not become an experiment, father."
Hyuga (OOC) says, "I could bring you up just for testing."
Hyuga (OOC) says, "No, no--they might try because of how you are related, but I think we can avoid you becoming prey."
Midori (OOC) would know, anyway.
Midori (OOC) says, "Unless they were very, very clever. Which they probably are."
Hyuga (OOC) says, "Which would make it challenging."
Hyuga (OOC) says, "But they wouldn't do it directly, which means you could surbive. So. YOu could learn from them and grow stronger..."
Midori (OOC) nods.
Hyuga (OOC) considers.
Midori (OOC) says, "Then, I could DESTROY THEM A...er, be ...er, friends with them."
Hyuga (OOC) says, "Yes. Exactly. ^^"
Midori (OOC) eavesdrops on people's thoughts, and becomes a figure of political intrigue. Or not.
Hyuga (OOC) thinks that would be nice.
Midori (OOC) adds that to the great OOC list of future life paths. Adds it near the top.
Hyuga (OOC) says, "I think it would be a fine career for you.."
Hyuga (OOC) tries to drag Midori along to the informal Royal Family that includes Khiea, Talon, etc.

Hyuga (OOC) says, "And the horses were fine and alive as long as they didn't try to break free and live."

Hyuga (OOC) asks, "Where do you need it, Jessie?"
Jessie (OOC) says, "I don't really. Unless I need to get to Shevat."
Hyuga (OOC) says, "Tell me if you do, I can fetch it."
Jessie (OOC) nods. "I will. I don't need it right this second." (I wasn't thinking. I entered the dream in Shevat without thinking I couldn't get back up there.)
Hyuga (OOC) says, "We don't like Shevat. ^^"
Hyuga (OOC) says, "But maybe... it's time to stalk it."
Midori (OOC) SPIES!
Hyuga (OOC) says, "It'll be just like seeing it again. And we can play Hunt the Jesiah."
Midori (OOC) claps! Hunts Jesiah witha rubber sword.
Jessie (OOC) tries to hide under some available pillows.
Midori (OOC) MASSACRES them.
Jessie (OOC) *eeps*... and looks around for some other place to hide.
Midori (OOC) points to a drainage chute she has marked 'Escape Pod'.
Jessie (OOC) oohs... "Thanks" Jumps knowingly towards the pod.

Midori (OOC) runs over to the windows to watch him plummet.

Hyuga (OOC) reconfigures the Buntline now to something extra fun.
Jessie (OOC) says, "Like it wasn't a 'fun' design before."
Hyuga (OOC) has such a will to do something......
Jessie (OOC) shrugs. "Well Midori, when your dad has that much will to do it, he well. I can't wait to see what he comes up with."
Midori (OOC) grins.
Jessie (OOC) says, "Trust me on this one. He will."
Hyuga (OOC) says, "Well, this is a Bad Will.."
Jessie (OOC) says, "Yes, it might be, but knowing you. You'll still try."
Hyuga (OOC) says, "I will indeed."
Hyuga (OOC) oopses and moves Bad Will to Terrible Will.
Jessie (OOC) wonders if it will be safe to even fly the Buntline.
Midori (OOC) says, "Just don't pres the newly installed red button."

Hyuga (OOC) says, "I can't believe I've already adapted."

Jessie (OOC) says, "I guess you won't be here much longer if you did take the full dose."
Hyuga (OOC) says, "No, I'm not affected anymore by the half."
Hyuga (OOC) says, "So I likely won't by the full much at all."
Hyuga (OOC) says, "And even if I am, that's good, because my mood is off..."
Jessie (OOC) nods. "Your system adaps to the oddest things and allows everything else to attack you."
Hyuga (OOC) says, "Bastards..."
Hyuga (OOC) says, "The viruses are keeping me alive to harvest in me."
Jessie (OOC) shakes his head. "They keep you upright just enough."
Jessie (OOC) blinks... yawns... "Sheesh, it's almost 1:00 already? Where does the time go?"
Hyuga (OOC) says, "Go to bed."
Hyuga (OOC) says, "You too, Midori."
Hyuga (OOC) says, "Everyone go to bed,."
Jessie (OOC) nods. "Would it be OK if I did bring you an XL Cinnamon after I get back from KRF tomorrow?"
Hyuga (OOC) asks, "When?"
Hyuga (OOC) isn't very social, but...
Jessie (OOC) says, "Between 5-6. I wouldn't want dinner or anything. Just a chance really to swing by and say hi in person."
Hyuga (OOC) says, "Oh sure."
Hyuga (OOC) says, "I'll try to be home."
Midori (OOC) yawns, and hugs Hyu. "See you soon".
Hyuga (OOC) asks, "Why the urge?"
Hyuga (OOC) says, "Go sleep! *hugs Midori*"
