The Aquavy Islands, Outside the Orphanage
This is a tiny little island, surrounded by a fine, sandy beachline. Small as it is, quaint as it is, it seems to be home to a small <O>rphanage, which bears upon it all the symbols of an Ethos held location. To the <s>outh lies a small beachline.

Erine
The Faintest of stirrings. The nuance of awakenness, clearing the head, the mind. Now it should be comfort, clean sheets, and a roof. But, not so. Not so for the lost angel, lying in state in sodden rags by the beach, as her disturbed sleep, turning and half-waking as it was, comes to an end, a feeble hand wiping one eye crabbily. Not yet does Midori feel like moving more than this. Not that movement would be her strong point now, the great pain of not having eaten for days, the great nauseousness, the headache that threatened to close her eyes again and fall back to dream, were it not for it cruelly keeping her awake. The light keeps her eyes closed, as her head barely lifts, still fuzzy from sleep. She rools over onto her other side, a gentle sigh, is all.
The islands which Ethos held claim to had changed.. Ever so much in the last few months. What is left of the reign of the Bishop Stone, where the Orphanage upon this island was run by a pale haired priest, and these lands held a somewhat harsher tone? For now, while the Orphanage is yet up and well, it is minded by only handfuls of the occational Etones that can be troubled to be so kind. And Erine. Should it be odd that the new Bishopess comes by to visit this place every week, or every other week or so? For it is a lovely place, and it is only her right to mind it as well as any other part of the Ethos lands. Especially with the utter calm the islands have held of late. And so, today she is walking down the pathways outside of the Orphanage, smiling as she ever does, thoughts ranging over dozens of wonders simultaneously. And yet, she finds herself distracted in a moment, to a slight form not more than a short stumble to the shoreline. Perhaps.. A little one who stumbled away from the Orphanage? Its all a rather curious scene. Towards which Erine turns and approaches.
Here be dragons. Midori opens one eye as someone approaches. The same one as before? Perhaps. But this one...er... Midori attempts to sit up, it would be bolt upright if she were this shocked and _able_ to sit bolt upright. But, that is of little consequence. What is of consequence is the...nothing, she felt approaching. Not unpleasant as such, but about as pleasant as seeing a person without a face. She half-turn, half-rolls over, so she can look toward this that is approaching, leaving her on hands and knees, peering up a gentle slope toward the path. Only a blur. It will come back soon. She raises one hand to wipe her eyes once again. It will come back, and we will see. She sniffles forlornly, and looks up again.
Erine pauses a few steps away from the child, blinking eyes so pale that they could be carved from glass in an expression of the utmost curiosity. "Odd, I haven't seen you before..." Someone new to the Orphanage? Well, that would be no surprise. So many children are abandoned or lost in this world. And yet, Erine tilts her head mildly, as if such a shift in glance could more easily reveal something more of this odd child.. Before granting a smile, a careful, but entirely kind gesture. For Erine is nothing but. She is designed to be little else. So, with an absolute care, as to not startle her, she approaches a few steps closer, before kneeling in the grass a small bit away, utterly unthreatening. Does the Bishopess worry about grass stains on her robes? Of course not. "You don't look well at all... Are you all right?"
Midori strains, and sighs slightly, as she gets to her feet, her knees threatening to buckle at any minute. The sun no longer stings her eyes so much, and she regards the figure above her. "...". she grasps at her Bunny, and looks down at it, not willing to risk it not speaking for her this time. So much pain. in her back, and her legs, and...everywhere. And now this enigma presents itself. It was... it was...
Midori loses consciousness, and collapses.
