MUCK?
A MUCK ("Multi-User Chat Kingdom") is an online game, where people can role-play characters in an online virtual world. It's a bit like a MUD, except there isn't a stats system, and there are less idiots walking about killing rabbits for XP. Battle resulution in the MUD is reliant on player maturity, and on a well-run mud like the Xenogears one, that's usually the case. Think of it as an online LARP that runs all day, every day, where plots can develop over time, as well as individual characters. If you read some of the logs from my character, you might get a better idea.
