Xenogears?
Xenogears is a game, released by Squresoft, on the playstation. Websites dedicated to it can be found pretty much everywhere, including here.
It's basically the story of a man named Fei Fong Wong, who goes an merry merry adventures, and...well...play it. Trust me. I'd also recommend you give a listen to the soundtrack, which is available in various places on the Internet, and the remix album, "creid", by the composer of the soundtrack, Yasunori Mitsuda. Think Irish Trad, backed up by drums, bass, and occasionally vocals. Without sounding like Kila. Ah hell, just listen to it, damnit!
