node.js and MongoDB using OpenShift

Learning a lot about WebApps through work. I started playing around with OpenShift, seems like a cool place to learn some new stuff.

Here’s the code to get it running:

Open Shift
================
Installation:
1) apt-get ruby and rubygems
2) sudo gem install rhc
3) rhc setup
4) git clone ssh://530….@nodejs-mlynch.rhcloud.com/~/git/nodejs.git/ node.js/

To Connect:

ssh -vt 530….@nodejs-mlynch.rhcloud.com

website: http://nodejs-mlynch.rhcloud.com/

Code stored locally at Dropbox/work/code/node.js/

To deploy local changes:
1) git commit -a -m ‘some comment’
2) git push
