Welcome Back Party and TQII
The second table quiz of this academic year was held on the Thurs 12th of February, 2004, alongside
our "Welcome-Back" party.
The quiz had a romantic theme, since Valentine's Day was to be on the following Saturday; thus
a number of brave poets penned loving verse and some were lucky enough to win prizes for their
efforts.
This quiz was even more successful than the last quiz we had; both
in terms of interest in the
quiz, quality of prizes (top 5 teams got prizes!) and range of questions (what does COBOL stand
for??). On top of all that, sandwiches, sausages and balloons were
supplied!!
