What is the President's Award?

Basically, it's a personal challenge set by you for you. If you're between 15-25 and interested in practically anything then you're good to go! There are three awards:

  • Bronze
  • Silver
  • Gold
There are four sections in each:
  • Personal Skill:
  • Physical Activity:
  • Community Involvement:
  • Adventure:
To earn your award in any of the sections you must decide on a task for each, confirm it with your President's Award Leader (PAL) and keep it up for the time allocated to the award you're aiming at. Most people choose a sport or skill they already do and work on improving it and use one of the other categories to take up something mad or something they've always wanted to do. It's a great way to motivate you to do something you've always wanted to do or to try!

Wondering what to do?

Have a think of what you are already doing in your life and a goal you can work towards. Think of something you've always wanted to try. Think of some area in the community you'd like to give a bit of your spare time to. Think of the satisfaction of setting up your own hike/cycle either in Ireland or abroad - think of the travel!!.
