About The Club

Our club is dedicated to teaching Kung Fu to students in Ireland. The particular style taught is known as Hung Sing Choy Lay Fut, a very effective style that originated in China several hundred years ago. For more information please visit The Choy Lay Fut Homepage. This gives details of training times in town, as well as information about our Sifu, Samuel Siu-Ming Lee. If you want to come training, please read the rules of etiquette below. Pretty straightforward stuff, but it's nice to look over them...

Training Times

When coming, please ensurethat you follow a few basic rules of etiquette in the hall:

  • Bow when Sifu asks you to bow
  • Wear loose clothing that you can move around in easily (you'll need them)
  • If you were watching a Bruce Lee film the night before training, please don't try it out on someone in the club...
  • Excessive violence isn't tolerated and will be sorted out by Sifu (you'll be a training dummy for everything he's teaching)
  • The training times for the club are as follows:

Monday: 5 - 6:30 p.m., Minor Hall, DCU Sports Complex

Wednesday: 8:30 - 10 p.m., Minor Hall, DCU Sports Complex
