One of the most excellent organisations in the world, IndyMedia (Independant Media Center) brings events of huge importance to light, and makes you wonder what the traditional news organisations are looking at!
www.metamute.com	The MetaMute magazine and website offer some interesting stories that you don't tend to see in the main-stream media
www.whatisthematrix.com	"The Matrix" is one of my favourite sci-fi films. This site has interesting info and pictures from the movie.
www.attrition.org	This is a great site dealing the hacker-culture. More than just a 'warez' site!
www.2600.org	One of my favourite magazines, 2600 is a refreshing change to the constant stream of rubbish that comes from most modern publications
www.hal2001.org	I attended this hackers conference which was held in Holland on the 10th/11th/12th August 2001. It was great! I also attended H2K2 in New York this Summer
JARGON: The new Hackers Dictionary	This has definitions on many words used by hackers today and in the past. One that you might want to look up is the definition for Hacker , commonly misunderstood by the public and the media

www.linux.org	Linux is an open source industrial strength Operating System. It's Unix compatable and comes free with software that would cost thousands for a Microsoft OS. Check out these screenshots of my linux laptop! [big] [small]
The Future	All I can say is that it's an interesting read...
Memetics	This is an interesting theory which actually makes sense when you think about it. If you've gotten one of those emails that says "Send this to 40 people or you'll die a horrible death" Then you've been exposed to Memetics! (Visit here to see an example I was sent by a quite intelligent friend of mine)
