Feb 01: Tuesday
Oyster and Goat spend day in bed....different beds....Eventually Goat gets a call offering him
a job...there is much rejoicing...Goat is (for the next month) a data enterer!
Feb 02: Wedneday
Oyster start the day with a trip to the web cafe.....Oyster downloads programs to his new palm
pilot which his parents got him in Hong Kong. It rocks, its an mp3 playing, command and conquer
running, document reading, photo viewing, photo taking, storage keeping beast of a computer.
Feb 03: Thursday
Oyster recieves letter from parents who are now in sydney, they seem to be sending me gig guides
in melbourne. Goat recieves word that his data entering skills are in demand tomorrow
Feb 04: Friday
Goats first day at work and Goaty goat is intimidated by all the fast typers. Goat fears he
will be fired from a job he is over qualified for:) Oyster also works in bar (back to pulling
pints hurrah) Oyster has day shift and remains in bar after work for free pints. 1 or 2 leads
to many shots...later goat, gs mark and ss ken arrive and oyster meets air hostess called leslie
...Goat rings the world and tries to rob a boat
Feb 05: Saturday
Goat spends day recoving from trauma of work...Oyster returns to work for a night of pint
pulling after which pints are had...Goat trys to rent movie and has card swallowed by electric
movie machine...Goat is without credit card and worry kicks in
Feb 06: Sunday
Oyster back on floor in work, its kareoke night and oyster does angels again....despite
trying to change song this week. Next week oyster will do something new....Goat gets credit
card back...now he can eat again. Many pints are had after work by Oyster and bar staff and
later oyster and barmaid jen go possum hunting...no possums are found however jen spots a rat.
Feb 07: Monday
Goat is late for work for 2nd day in a row. Thats 2 out of 2 lates. Oyster gets foreign
exchange and has phone call with parents saying goodbye from oz.
Feb 08: Tuesday
GLOW STICK MARKS 21ST!!! PANCAKE TUESDAY!!! Oyster starts day with a haircut then head home
with a crate of bud for drinks.....After Oyster prepares pancakes Goat joins the swarray a
nd movement is made to PJ's where PJ Obriens himself is at the bar. Dec and the mullingar
lads later arrive out and Goat goes home early as he has work in the morning. Oyster goes
to the casino with the lads and Oyster teaches GS Mark and SS Ken how to rave
Feb 09: Wednesday
Goat goes to work with hangover and notices alot of the staff are being fired....Oyster
discovers T has quit Pj's after decking her best mate Danielle at a party last night. Oyster
is curious as to what heppened there
Feb 10: Thursday
Oyster wakes up late and arrives in work to cover lazy fez's shift...Oyster finds he has
a tough few days ahead with his first 5 day in a row spell of work!!!
Feb 11: Friday
Oyster back in work finds drunken Mullingar lads still going after 2 day bender. Dec is
found asleep in the bar at one point and they all are wearing sun glasses. Goat is fired
from his job as a data enterer after one week. Oyster meets T who is leaving for Cairns
in the morning...everyone is leaving...boo
Feb 12: Saturday
Goat & Oyster get up and goes to the bar for 3 and has drinks with the lads. Ciarans boss is
there and keeps buying whiskey for people while telling us stories of his times with Liam
and Noel Gallagher (TCB - TAKING CARE OF BUSINESS) After many hours of drinking Oyster goes
to work pissed and trys to serve....The lads later arrive and Oyster is allowed go home early
...hurrah....Goat is seen late on making friends with an aussi girl
Feb 13: Sunday
Oyster has the early shift and after a lateish night all this work is starting to hurt....
OYster finishes at 7 and checks out st kilda festival.....Melbourne is bedlam with people
travelling on the backs of trams as there is no room inside...Goat and Oyster travel to the
(very hungover) mullingar lads house where football is watched (Man Utd 2 - Man City 0). Goat
wins $40 on first scorer
Feb 14: Monday
VALENTINES DAY....Oyster gets valentines text from Isabelle, Liza and Allison....Later in
work oyster must wear shirt saying RANDY ANDY and gets many phone numbers from customers....
hurrah! Sped Dating is going on in PJ's and victory dance is had at end of night. Mullingar
lads still drinking.....Oyster takes off hat and thinks these men could give the late great
sean fitz a run for his drinking trophy.
Feb 15: Tuesday
We get a hoover and try to figure out how it works. Our apartment is clean. Oyster buys
ticket from Melbourne gran prix at student price (cheeky) Oyster re starts fitness plan
and sees gran prix track is all set up. Goat works like a real man on a site digging holes
for 9 hours.....returns home delerious never to do that again...
Feb 16: Wednesday
GS Mark's perth lover (Niamh) and her friend Lorraine come to stay with the Goat and Oyster
in number 16. SS Ken had intended for love with Lorraine but it doesnt look likely. Oyster
hands in notice to work and is in final 2 weeks mode. In rejoice the unemployed goat gets
a 180 dollers hair cut and drinking commences with the mullingar massive. LAter in the joint
OYster is very drunk doing kareoke....MESSY NIGHT
Feb 17: Thursday
Goat and Oyster get to know the girls and watch dodgeball in the house. The seem to have
brough calm to the other lads who now clean up after themselves.....Goat and Oyster rejoice
....Goat gets new job typing in data again....there is further rejoicing
Feb 18: Friday
Goat and Oyster both return to working life with oyster in at 6 as a glassy and oyster in
at 10am. Goat has web access now but no time to use it...Angeleque and Christa finish in
PJ's *sniff*
Feb 19: Saturday
Oyster wakes up late and is back in work at 6 for more mind numbing glassy work. Oyster
and mullingar lads show up in Pj's later where Oyster drops 15 glasses in front of em.
Goat makes friends with 18 year old Ozzie girl. After a tough days work over a few beers
the lead singer of the band challenges Oyster to a sing off next weekend in PJ's....Oyster
agrees!!...Jens finishes in PJ's *sniff* A Possum feeding is embarked!
Feb 20: Sunday
Oyster back behind the bar, and spends most of the night on stage as its kareoke night!
Jen is drinking and drags Oyster up for final song of the night with her to sing "leaving
on a jet plane", Oyster takes her on the final Possum feed and 3 hours later Jen leaves
Australia
Feb 21: Monday
Oyster still in work behind the bar and Angelique and Krista are having their last big
night out. Later we clean bar and all stay locked in as per usual but this time we just
turned back down the lights turned up the music and drank ourselves unconcious. Spend alot
of the night dancing on the bar. Head Bosses Eamonn and Kenny also spotted on the bar....
Oyster sprays them with the soda gun
Feb 22: Tuesday
Goat and Oyster finally both off work....Oyster meets Angelique and Krista for a final
goodbye drink as their flight is leaving later on today. Drinking is commenced. Later
girls leave and Dec and the mullingar lads appear. The Joint is headed to and all nighter
pulled playing pool and drinking. Eventually champions league games come on. Arsenal loose
and Oyster rings Ireland to gloat....Stupid Fat Macky! Later GS Mark and the girls arrive
and Oyster trys selling Lorraine on the tram home for 20 cent...later price is upped to 25
cent
Feb 23: Wednesday
The crew of Apt 16 all get out movies and eat like kings....Pirates of the Carabbian
watched. Later our hot scotch neighbour Marie arrives up drunk and falls about to our
amusement. Then she looses all her stuff and we have to help her find it....she also cant
find her way home which is intresting as she is our neighbour!
Feb 24: Thursday
Goat and Oyster acend the Rialto tower...The tallest Office Block in South Austalia. Both
our places of work can be seen as can our apt....kinda...Many pics are taken and later an
all you can eat is taken in. But it tastes Baaaad.
Feb 25: Friday
Goat enters data for the day while Oyster wakes up late and heads to Kylie Exibition....
Many pretty dresses are viewed....Oyster feels very girlie! Oyster heads to work and does
glassy for 10 hours. Later Goat arrives in with lads. They were at a BBQ in the penthouse
and has a special bar lady serving them drinks.....Oyster is enraged with missing this...
Oyster follows them up to the joint after work and gets locked! Dec and tash looked friendly
when we left....suspician...
Feb 26: Saturday
Oyster in work with hangover, baaaaaad....glasses are picked up, drinks are had and nothing
of intrest happens
Feb 27: Sunday
Oysters last day of work goes down in style. With a huge lack of caring Oyster spends most
of the night drinking with the lads. At the end of the night Oyster scores a bird called
Cathy. A water fight starts, Oyster gets fired in jest....hurrah for last days. Ireland
England game is on, Ireland dominate, there is much rejoicing..Rosemarie appears in bar
from at home...Oyster shocked Feb
Feb 28: Monday
Irish Echo leave message for Oyster requesting pics of him working in PJ's oyster laughs
at them. Oyster does final safeway run. Goat still working...Oyster likes being unemployed
again
