Girls last night in Melbourne, Goat and Oyster have big week ahead so an easy night is
taken. Mary is back in Melbourne. Goat has a 5 day week working. Oyster breaks first
string on guitar. boo!
Mar 02: Wednesday
Oyster passes Federation Square to see all the Rally car drivers signing autographs.
There is many stalls and stands the gran prix is coming. Goat hands in notice in work
after 1.5 weeks service. The news is taken well and Goat passes job on to Burkey. Rosie
is met in town and old times caught up on in Pj's. Later Oyster and Goat go to Mary's apt
(well Babs') and ales are had. Oyster makes friends with new chelsea fan mark. Oyster
continues lust for Simone the Essex Girl. "she will be mine...oh yes...she will be mine"
Mar 03: Thursday
GRAN PRIX DAY 1....Goat works as Oyster goes and see's fast cars in what can only be
described as a man festival. Oyster meets Burkey, Seamus, Moorsey and Rosie and photos
are taken of us and hot Fosters Girls. (Hot women dressed as beer cans surrounded by fast
cars....somebody looked into a mans wants/needs and created something beautiful *wipes tear*)
Mar 04: Friday
Goats last day of work....Phil Osman arrives in Melbourne and Goat and Oyster head to PJ's
for drinks... Pj's wins Pub of the Year from the Irish Echo, who turn up looking for pics
of Oyster...Oyster escapes as he no longer works there...Later lads arrive in and Oyster
is attacked by drunk Cork idiot who is thrown out with all his scum mates. Oysters dog
tags are broken in fued...
Mar 05: Saturday
Oyster fixes dog tags and is rudely awakened by a Fighter jet which flys 10 meters above
oysters and goats abode. GS mark even see pilot in cock pit its so close...the gran prix
is in full swing. Oyster has date but calls in sick as he is too hungover. Girl is hot and
will be met again...maybe
Mar 06: Sunday
GRAN PRIX DAY...G&O wake up at 10 and head up and meet Neasa and Glen, they have been
there since 8 and got a great spot on a bend...Moorsey also arrive early but the other
lads are late as they are hungover. Oyster looses all bets but Goat wins 40 dollers on
Fisicella winning. Later drinks are had in Transport with Babs, Neasa, Glenn, Bourkey,
Moorsey, Phil, Ruth, Andrea and Co. Final Goodbyes are said as its Goat and Oysters l
last Melbourne night out
Mar 07: Monday
Goat and Oyster leave number 16 forever. Place is in bits in revenge to messy GS Mark
and SS Ken. G&O return to where it all began...Pint on Punt Hostel and get a twin room....
Goat heads to internet while Oyster meets the locals and starts up an 8 man uno game
while watching Joey
Mar 08: Tuesday
Goat and Oyster head down the Great Ocean Road, on the way some wild Koala are spotted
eating in the trees. Bells beach is stopped at also (from point break). Goat and Oyster
learn about history of famous shipwreck and get a sunset view of the 12 apostels. Christian
from the Faroe Islands is met on the trip...one of 40,000 faroe people in the world...
thats like half of slane and its a country
Mar 09: Wednesday
Goat and Oyster on the road again. Early start sees them hitting Adelaide for 10am and
Alice Springs for 12! There bus driver Mike picks them up for an adventure to Ayers
rock. Goat and Oyster are literally in the middle of the desert (..or semi Arid region).
They spot giant Eagles and Wild Kangroo in the bush and pick up a bus of German 18 year
olds shortly afters. Later they arrive close by Ayers Rock to see sunset. Beers are had
with card games and then everyone sleeps in the open sand in sleeping bags (or Swags)
Mar 10: Thursday
Up at 4.30 for sunrise over Ayers Rock but emmense heat and 5 million flies are pissing
Goat and Oyster off, nevertheless they embark on a day of walks around Kata Tjuta, Uluru
(Ayers Rock) and Aboriginal Centers. Open desert is endless...Oyster and Goat eat
Aboriginal berries! Later sunset viewed over Ayers Rock again and more drinking commences!
Card playing with Chig, Sharn and the Germans commences too.
Mar 11: Friday
Another early morning as Goat and Oyster pop back on the bus and heat to Kings Canyon.
There they rent Quad bikes and rocket through the open bush. The investigate a cave and
find a nest which aparantly was made by an extinct rat. They also find aboriginal markings
deep in the bush. Later after beers G&0 get eaten by bugs while sleeping in their swags...
much pain and itching. More cards played. Cum By Ya sang around a camp fire. Oyster banged
out some hits on the guitar too.
Mar 12: Saturday
Goat and Oyster head to Kings Canyon for a look about. Its very grand canyon esq. Next a
bar is stopped at and Oyster gets a job playing a piano with a singing Dingo called Dinky.
Later Oyster find out Dingo is famous and is a question in trivial persuit! MT Conner is
viewed as is a salt lake called Amadais is also seen. Finally a rock walabee is seen right
outside Alice Springs and the tour ends. Goat and Oyster arrive at Desert Rose hostel which
is nice and meet Chig, Sharn and the German later on for beers and an all you can eat meal.
Goodbyes are said.
Mar 13: Sunday
Goat and Oyster look around Alice Springs and catch the movie be cool. There are lots of
Aboriginees in the town and it has a scary western small town vibe. Goat and Oyster lay
low and nurse their insect bites.
Mar 14: Monday
Goat and Oyster awake and head to Brisbane...After 5 hours in the boring Adelaide Airport
they eventually arrive and are picked up by Phil in his new car. (much similar to a Diatsu
Charade.) The new place of living is viewed and its number 6!!!!! hurrah!! the place is
awesome even better than number 16 and has xbox and is clean and fresh. McDonalds taken in
and sleep is had.
Mar 15: Tuesday
Goat and Oyster start the day by unpacking and getting some safeway out of the way. Then
they take a look around the town.....Later they return home for movie watching and pir
eating
Mar 16: Wednesday
Goat gets call in for a job interview. Oyster spends the day in the Brisbane CBD shopping
and looking around. Oyster visits museum. Goat arrives home with work of job in data input
engineering which may start monday! Oyster decides to give agency a call in the morning.
Mar 17: Thursday
PADDYS DAY!!! Goat gets word that job probs wont start till tuesday. Oyster rings and gets
afternoon interview/test for friday! Later Goat, Oyster, Phil and Ruth go to Irish Bar.
Later PJ's in brisbane is visited which is much bigger than melbournes! Oyster makes
friends with new aussi girl Shae :) Goat meets Cathys work mate Elish in PJ's
Mar 18: Friday
Oyster turns up for job interview hungover. Oyster is promised work anyhow sometime in
coming week. Phil is up for work and is very hungover. Goat and Ruth spend the days as
detectives playing CSI on the XBox.
Mar 19: Saturday
Pizzas are ordered in and a pro Evolution tournament commences. Beers are had and proper
lads night had. Intentions to go to the local are thwarted by lazyness! Oyster goes for
run to re-start fitness plan
Mar 20: Sunday
Oyster continues fitness plan and a boring night of television commences....Oyster goes
to bed early
Mar 21: Monday
Oyster decides to go on a trip to the Valley.....a brisbane hot spot.....Its very chienese,
but good pawn shops are there. Later shopping is taken in and Oyster gets a tank top....oh yeah
Mar 22: Tuesday
Oyster has first days work as a post man. Oyster posts some letters from the mayor and
finds a pog. Later Basketball is played...Goat Vs the Oyster is a battle of wits and talent.
Oyster looses 6 - 0.
Mar 23: Wednesday
Goat and Oyster head to the Gold Coast on a train and hit Wet and Wild theme park. Many
slides are gone on and mini football is bought. Later Goat and Oyster are chatted up by 2
ladies in bikinis. They think goat and Oyster look like a surfer and a barman .... After
discovering their ages are 12 and 13 Goat and Oyster debate and decide ...... not to woo them
Mar 24: Thursday
Goat and Oyster recieve offers of employment! Both Goat and Oyster start boring office work
on tuesday for the coming week. Later Phil recieves first pay cheque and we visit the local
regatta pub for drinks. Everyone goes home early except Oyster who meets a crew of blackjack
dealers and spends the night drinking with them. Later 34 year old blackjack lady starts
hitting on Oyster....Oyster leaves the regatta swiftly
Mar 25: Friday
GOOD FRIDAY...everything is shut so the crew of number 6 play xbox and watch videos all day
and night. LAter pizzas are ordered..hurrah
Mar 26: Saturday
Goat, Oyster, Phil and Ruth go to a aussi BBQ in the suburbs, hosted by Nat and Dave. AFL is
watched and Jackos team do crap! Later a bus is taken to the valley where Phil and Ruth get
turned away from the Frames gig for being 17. The crew then head to the Elephant and Wheelbarrow
and Oyster makes friends with new Oz girl. She later proves to be wierd so Oyster leaves here
for Canadian. Later Oyster sees original girl kissing a black guy in a wheelchair....how odd?
Goat meets up with Elish again..
Mar 27: Sunday
EASTER SUNDAY and not an egg to be seen :( Ruth does the church thing then the Crew of no. 6
get out Anchorman but it doesnt work in xbox:( Oyster gets asked out on date by Oz girl Shea
(the nice one)
Mar 28: Monday
EASTER MONDAY.....Oyster starts back at the running and getting fit. Then another tv night is had.
Mar 29: Tuesday
Oyster and Goat go to work. Oyster is doing filing all day which is boring but easy. Oyster
listions to walkman all day. Goat is filling in for some high up women and is stressed out.
Has no idea what he's up to!
Mar 30: Wednesday
Oysters work just gets easier, people just play solitaire all day, Oyster gets a computer
and starts doing similar. Goat has 5 hour meeting with heads of oz transport and has to do
all the minutes. He returns home stressed.
Mar 31: Thursday
Oysters job gives him no work but still want him in on friday. Goat is getting used to being
stressed. Oyster has date with Shae. They go to Southbank and see and Artifical beach. There,
dinner is had and a free cinema is visited. The Patriot is viewed, America win the cival war!
