Undergraduate Project Placement

2010/2011: Áine Bernard (4th Year Pharmacy) used protein-ligand docking to identify non-covalent inhibitors of falcipain 2, a key enzyme in the lifecycle of the parasite that causes malaria, P. falciparum.

2009/2010: Amy Kelly (4th Year Pharmacy) developed a statistical model (using the Random Forest method) to predict intrinsic solubility of drug-like molecules.
