Not exactly fantastic results but I did absolutely no work in semester one and didn't even deserve to only fail one subject. But hey, I'm working now. Promise ;-)
The week just gone by was DCU Rag Week. Most of the week was spent drinking. Tuesday I went to the Redbrick Alt Rag Ball with pictures here and here with a very accurate (albeit drunken) account of how Ian pulled his pants down on stage, with me behind him, here. Thursday then presented us with the DCU Rag Ball for which I got extremely drunk and remember very little. I don't have any pictures at the moment but check back and I might have some during the week some time.
Yesterday I bought Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004 for my cuddly gamecube. Fantastic game. And I don't even like golf! :-) I just can't stop playing it.
That's all I've got to report for now. Going to Muse tomorrow night in the Olympia and looking forward to it big time. I'll let you know how it was. Now back to my nice lazy Sunday.

I started back today into semester 2
at college. Missed my first lecture because someone who's in a different
stream to us (he was in CAIS2 and we are CASE2) told us the lecture
was cancelled. Of course he was talking about the CAIS one while the
CASE one was going ahead and we thought he meant the CASE one was cancelled.
Agh. Anyway we missed it. Caught the rest of them and even did a 1 hour
lab on my first day which was weird because they don't usually start
for a few weeks or so. Agh rambling.
Rob's
got his 21st party this Friday in some kip off Dame Street in town and
hopefully I'll get to go out in a similar fashion to the Redbox night
two nights ago the day after. This will be very welcomed seeing as we
have Friday's completely free for the first 5 weeks. Yay.
Went to TGI Friday's on Stephen's Green last night for food, was excellent.
Was the first time I was in the one there (last time was in Florida
when I was about twelve) and I really really really like their smoothies.
Pricey stuff though :-(
Oh yeah which reminds me, I'm broke. This month I've spent about €300
on flights and €150 on exchanging money and I just found out I've
got to actually go and buy books for this semester! Fucking books! I
mean it's a bloody computing degree. These friggin' books don't come
cheap either. One of them is like €58. Bugger.
I'm now really wrecked after a long weekend of travelling and seeing
friends and my first day back so I'm gonna try and get an early night.

Brian's
LAN was full of n00bs :P It was good though. We played a good bit of
Quake3 and had a nice FreezeTag session. A little bit of Warcraft3,
some Call of Duty and finished off with some Counter-Strike 1.5 (which
was hilarious because no-one had played if before). And I of course
whipped out some Neocron
to show them. Speaking of which here are some pics.

This week I'm taking it easy and doing as little as possible. Want to
get a hair cut if the feckers would ever pick up the phone so I could

flash today, sorry peeps :-)
Oh and some clever cloggs took down prodigy for the afternoon so now
I have to wait ages until the turn it back on so I can upload this.

SadSoc event was last night in Doyles
and I have to say it was pretty sad :-) Didn't drink too much and left
at about 1am and went to Ricks for an om nyom nyom nyom NYOM burger
with phaxx
and then went to Eddie Rockets to get some nyom nyom strawberry malts.
So a better ending to a dull night :o) But to make up for it, here
are the pictures from my previous night in Redbox. Some classics in
there and I think this
has to be my best (and probably triona's

I've just tried to wash the stench of
stale cigarettes out of my hair and it ain't happening. God I hate that
smell. But I guess that's the price I'm paying for an excellent night
out, and it was just that; and excellent night out. First time I've
been out properly in quite a while and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Started
off in the Bleeding Horse for a few and proceeded to venture forth into
the Red Box. Drank lots, danced lots, and topped it all off with a Burger
King on Grafton St. (even though I clearly wanted to go to Eddie Rockets
:P)
Some quality pictures were taken during the night and I'll have them
up as soon as I get them off people later. Oh and apologies to creech
who was unlucky enough to be in bed when I came in at 4am and started
shouting "n00b!!!!" at him lots. Heehee. Pics later.

With the whole exam thing I also took it upon myself to grow a "study beard". This is basically when you stop shaving once you start studying for your exams and you shave it once your exams are finished. Now for all the study I did I should probably only have scanger fluff under my lip, and some of you may argue that that's all it is, and you're probabily right too. Either way pictures are here for you to judge it. Yeah I still haven't gotten around to shaving it. It's growing on me. Literally (omfg hahahahahahahha) :o)
So tonight I'm heading out with the CAIS2 students that finished today to get sloshed somewhere in the city centre. Then there's the SadSoc event in Doyles tomorrow which I will also be wandering into to get quite drunk again yay! Now I just need another excuse to go out on Saturday and make a run of it. Oh but wait, I do. There's a Lan on over in Brian's place on Sunday and I must arrive clear headed. Rar!
Oh and apologies once again for lack of updates. New year's resolution to update more blah blah blah. Take my word for it, I'll try :-)
Oh yeah; playing Neocron in a big way now with the CIX guys and really really into it. It's very addictive and the daddy of MMORPG games hands down. The only time in my life where an hour properly "disappeared" the other night. Freaked me out big time :-)

Also been considering changing the rollover image at the beginning of the website but everyone keeps telling me to keep it because it's so funny. I think I'm still going to change it thought because it was meant for the summer when i was in Bum-Mode™.
I was at the Redbrick Freshers Event 2003 there on Wednesday night, some classic pictures were taken by magluby which you can see here. Yes that is me trying to lick people's ears ;-)
Last night was the first GamesSoc LAN Night in Wired internet cafe in town. Kind of wrecked after that and my sleeping pattern is completely buggered and this is pretty much reflected in the quality of posting today so I think I'll leave it there :-)
