MPS recognises the beauty of video and encourages members to become involved in the creation of video products from conceptualisation to completion stage.

Video, because of the inclusion of both visual and audio material, often requires diverse skills such as scriptwriting, storyboarding, casting, shooting, editing and sound-engineering. Skills, resources, ideas and techniques are shared, allowing MPS members to broaden their horizons and increase their skills in a creative environment.

MPS Video Productions are showcased regularly in numerous venues in the heart of Dublin and in University Theatres. Such showcases gives budding video practitioners the invaluable opportunity of displaying their work to new audiences.

MPS's Video Crew are key figures in the development of the University's temporary television station, Dublin City University TV.
