The
Murder, She Wrote Committee 2004-2005
This is the first year of the MSWsoc and it's all going very well
so far. The society was founded by Aidan, Brian, Donal and John,
whose details are listed below. A constitution
was written and a committee formed. We're all working hard now to
plan events and entertainment for our members and we're always delighted
to hear your ideas or accept any help you want to give, so please
don't hesitate to contact us...
Chairperson: Aidan Beatrice
Bell
As well as sharing an unusual middle name with everyone's favourite
tv sleuth, Aidan is a disturbingly dedicated fan of Murder,
She Wrote. He can far too readily quote episodes and his fanatical
love of the show, while slightly worrying, makes him a perfect candidate
for chairperson.
Treasurer:
Adam Doherty
Adam was raised in a particularly isolated rural area, where watching
Murder, She Wrote on tv was his only real contact with
the wider world. Happily, the good example set by the show meant
that when he moved to Dublin, he was a kind, generous soul, who
crusaded for justice and frequently meddled helpfully in police
enquiries.
Secretary: Margaret McAuliffe
Mags was elected to the previously male-dominated committee at our
EGM. Her landslide victory was testament to her sultry red-headed
hotness, enthusiasm for tv detective shows and general excellence
in secretarial duties. It turns out in the end that she was secretly
the killer all along.
Public Relations: Donal Mulligan
The only member of the committee, so far, to have managed to speak
to Angela Lansbury. Donal works tirelessly to create the tasteful
and popular posters that have helped
make a name for us on campus. He also enjoys making websites like
this one and writing flattering commentary on himself here. He's
great.
Events Coordinator:
John Kavanagh
Since a young age, John has enjoyed the particular sense of fulfillment
that can only come from solving homicide on a weekly basis. He enjoyed
a brief career with Interpol before shying away from the glitzy
world of criminology to study computer applications at DCU. Now
MSWsoc has provided the means for him to flex his razor-sharp deductive
mind once again.
Ordinary Member:
Brian Smyth
When finding a suitable candidate for this committee role, MSWsoc
held lengthy auditions to find the most ordinary person possible
and knew we had our man when we found Brian. From his boring surname
to his current work placement in fund accountancy, Brian is as ordinary
and unremarkable as we could have hoped. We're not sure what it
is that he does on the committee and neither is he, but the constitution
said we had to have someone, so there he is, being ordinary.

Note how John has transformed into a short hot girl called Medb.
Weird.
Note also, the attractive and eye-catching ties.
