CLUB AWARDS

This year we will be awarding Clubs and Societies in the following categories:

Outstanding Fresher:
    :: One Nomination per club.

Outstanding Club Administrator & Outstanding Sporting Achievement:
    :: One nomination for either Outstanding Club Administrator or Outstanding Sporting Achievement per club. However, If you feel your club has individuals who merit an award in both categories you may submit two nominations, justifying your reasons. The Judging panel will decide whether or not to accept this nomination. Please prioritise your nominations.

Best Sporting Event:
    :: One Nomination per club.

Coach of the Year:
    :: One Nomination per club.

Most Improved Club:
    :: If you submit a nomination for Most Improved Club you may not submit a nomination for Best Club.

Best Club:
    :: If you submit a nomination for Best Club you may not submit a nomination for Most Improved Club.

Best Poster:
    :: One Nomination per club. The winner will be announced at the awards ceremony, there will be no presentation.

Best Website:
    :: One Nomination per club. The winner will be announced at the awards ceremony, there will be no presentation.

Applying

To assist clubs and societies in completing their nominations a list of criteria has been drawn up. (See bellow) When submitting your nomination it is useful to consider all the relevant criteria. Your submission must be limited to two pages.

A summary sheet must be included on the front page, this will be used for the awards ceremony brochure. This summary should be no more than 150 words. It is important that it is an accurate summary of the club/society/individual being nominated. Any supporting documentation should be submitted to Siobhan.

Nominations must be submitted before Wednesday, March 9th 2005 at 1pm. Please note: Late submissions will not be considered. All submissions must be by email to siobhan.byrne@dcu.ie.

Ticket Policy:
There will be one ticket available for each club and society. Individual nominees will also receive one ticket. (Depending on numbers) Tickets will be available from Una Redmond. You will be notified of date and times.
